\”Pregnancy\” is one of those blessings which almost all the women in the world want to enjoy. Some are too lucky to have a baby early in their lives, some get it little later and some are among those who want them but don\’t get them. It\’s been a while I read extensively and rigorously about vegan pregnancy. It\’s not that I\’m trying to have a baby now, but just for knowledge. At least, mentally and physically I should be ready when I want this to happen.

American Pregnancy Association suggests pregnant women avoid raw meat, smoked seafood, raw eggs, alcohol, caffeine and unpasteurized milk from their daily diet. Green vegetables, fruits, lentils, legumes should be consumed daily. During pregnancy, women can follow a particular diet plan prescribed by their doctors. Experiments with various diet plans should be avoided strictly at this period.
Folic Acid is one of the most essential parameters which pregnant women should keep in check now and then. This you can get purely from the vegan diet. You should eat more legumes, lentils, cereals, green leafy vegetables, broccoli, avocado and asparagus. Instead of depending on the medicines to keep your folic acid in control, you should better incorporate these things into your diet. The American Dietic Association explained that, vegan diet during pregnancy, childhood, adolescents, infancy and lactation and keep you away from various deadly diseases. It will surely enhance your immunity to protect you from the life-threatening diseases.
The vegan diet has an immense capacity to reduce your morning sickness during pregnancy. Your body is naturally protecting your fetus from any sort of indigestion, inflammation, or any sort of contamination. Why damage or causing any harm to the fetus who is not yet born. Isn\’t it better to consume plant-based food, vegetables and fruits instead of animal protein and meat? Every parent wants their newborn to step into this world healthily and happily. To bring them safely, it\’s always prescribed by vegan advocates and doctors to consume vegan food to keep your fetus safe.
