As the type 2 diabetes is wide spreading among young and middle-aged people, the world is investing multi-million dollars to find a cure. Presently, as a per a global survey conducted by World Health Organisation, almost 422 million people are living with diabetes and among them almost 1.5 million are dying each year due to diabetes. For all of them, diabetes is the direct or indirect health reasons for their death. But sadly the numbers are increasing.

Mostly commonly, people have type 2 diabetes, either they fail to produce enough insulin or they are resistant to insulin production in their bodies. In the past 3 decades, the number of diabetic people increased in all the income levels. Earlier, it was only restricted to the people from low to middle income communities and countries.
Type 1 diabetes, once it was known as juvenile diabetes, patients are strictly dependent on insulin injections. Because their pancreas are incapable of producing enough insulin. They create little or no insulin. The data from WHO is very shocking. India being the developing country, still don’t have lot of facilities what other countries have; like, oral glucose tolerance test, HbA1c test, dial aged funds examination, foot vascular status by Doppler and urine strips for glucose and ketone measurement.
Research 1
Diabetes News by ScienceDaily says that artificial intelligence is accelerating the design of a software to help preventing diabetes among people. As per there recent findings, adults who are either sleep deprived or sleeping only for 3-5 hours are standing at a high risk of getting type 2 diabetes. The stress increasing in their body due to sleep deprivation can cause diabetes.

Research 2
New research came where the scientists found that type 2 diabetes mellitus is responsible for obesity in the non-alcoholics leading to chronic kidney diseases. Cotadutide is a dual glucagon-like peptide 1 and glucagon receptor agonist which showed significant results in overweight men and women. Even obese humans also showed improvement in their health.

Research 3
Sub-set of beta cells from our pancreas orchestrate systematic glucose homeostasis. Those who fail to produce enough insulin in their body can take help from these sub-sets of islet cells and can help their pancreas to produce enough insulin.

Research 4
This research is conducted on rats, not the humans yet, but hopefully the human trial will start soon. Its is found that swimming in hot and cold water, along with a cinnamon supplementation can help reducing HbA1c, TBC1D1, and TBC1D4 in rats. Physical activities in various environmental conditions with herbal supplements can be regarded as a non-pharmacological practice to avoid and improve type 2 diabetes.

I posted the paper links in here so you all can read in detail. These papers are written and being conducted with lot of precision. Scientists and experts are constantly working on various aspects of type 2 diabetes. While researching, they come across various new factors which nobody ever found before or noticed before. As the time is progressing, we are making developments too.
